Vantage Events: Winery E-session

Thursday, September 19, 2013

I shared a little sneak peak of this e-session with you, but the amazing Heidi of Ribbons & Twine Photography was so quick with the edits that I am sharing a few of these beautiful shots with you today! Now that's commitment! Heidi is so talented and I feel honoured to have had the chance to work with her, and am looking forward to Priya & Ryan's upcoming wedding!

Wedding Wednesday: Bridal Party Photos

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

Finally another Wedding post for you with our official wedding photos.
I am in love with them all but I have just chosen a select few to encompass our whole day. I don't want to do a whole huge post so I am going to break it up into different parts of the day. Here's some of us and the bridal party before the ceremony.
Hope you like them!

On a side note: I am now offering Professional Wedding planning services! I am a certified wedding planner and am available for anyone in the Greater Toronto Area. Ok, I'm done. Enjoy!

A Quick Hello

Friday, May 11, 2012

Hi Friends,

So I know that I have been gone for about 3 weeks...but the weeks leading up to the wedding were ridiculous, and so I took the honeymoon and this past week to just enjoy my new hubby. We are slowly settling into our new home together, and enjoying being able to see each other every day. He brings me to work in the morning, and even brought me lunch the other day! I'm liking this husband deal already.

Here's a few teaser pics of our wedding from my sister.

Wedding Wednesday: Indian Photoshoot (Part II)

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Last week Friday I had my hair and makeup trials done, as well as some photos in my Indian outfit - this style is called a lengha. We had a lot of fun and had the most perfect day to do them. It made me so excited for the wedding because it made everything seem so much more real, and also gave me confidence that the wedding day will go smoothly.

Here's a few photos that I got back from my photographer as a little preview. I hope you like them!

Wedding Wednesday: Decisions Decisions

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

Even when you think you've made a final decision, things always change.
When I had started thinking about our wedding, the idea was to have a Winter Wedding, but as you know, now we're having a Spring Wedding! The colour theme that we originally chose was a very dark purple with ivory and gold accents. With it now being the beginning of Spring, I felt like it deserved a brighter and more vibrant colour, yet still keeping ivory and gold as accent colours. So, we decided to go with these colours and still accessorize with the dark purple to create a beautiful contrast. I am excited! Other things in the works; Invitations! I can only imagine how fun it will be to DIY 100+ invitations (can you hear the sarcasm?), and it's less than 6 months away!

Wedding Wednesday: To First look or Not to First Look

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Traditions are changing and modern brides are throwing caution to the wind. One of the trends that is becoming increasingly popular is to have a "First Look" with your husband-to-be before the ceremony. It has been a long time tradition for the groom to see his bride for the first time while she is walking down the aisle, it adds that element of surprise and genuine emotion during the ceremony that will have your guests in tears. However, more and more couples are opting to see each other before hand and have that special moment in private.
I am a pretty private person and also a very emotional one, so I love the idea of a 'first look'. I want my groom to be the first person to see me on our wedding day and spend a quiet moment together before we embark on the most important day of our lives. I am not good with surprises, and seeing as our ceremony is at 4:00PM, I want to spend as much of the day with him as possible!
Here's a few beautiful first look photos to get your heart pumping and those eyes watering.
