After many long weeks of this 30 for 30 challenge, the end is finally here! I wasn't actually trying to create a cohesive look on this last one, the plan was to just try and pile on as many layers as possible, but I ended up stopping at 4 tops. I think that's enough don't you? I hope you have enjoyed this challenge! I have learned a lot and my style has definitely evolved since I started. I hope to continue posting weekly outfits for you but for now I need a break! Thank you to all of my new followers for joining in on the fun and I hope you continue to be inspired. Thanks for those of you who left me sweet birthday wishes! I have had a wonderfully busy weekend full of celebrations.

Today is one step closer to the FINALE of this 30 for 30 challenge! Woo Hoo! If you read my previous post, you will know that the weather has been absolutely horrendous, and therefore outdoor photos have been difficult. I was one step away from that fabulous muddy yard (where I always take my photos) and then I glanced over at this bench. It was sitting so perfectly in front of all these old junction boxes just begging me to take pictures on it. I know the background can be distracting, so I tried to play it down a little by using a B&W flare. The colour is off because the lighting was terrible in the barn, plus there was absolutely no sign of sunlight today. Just try to focus on the clothes people, not my ghostly white face. Oh, and I almost forgot, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY today! What a great way to start the weekend! Have a good one!

Nothing Clever: 28/30
Thursday, March 10, 2011
I have nothing clever left to offer you, so I threw on some red and a cute umbrella. It was a horrible day yesterday and I couldn't take pictures so I had to take them today after work in the rain. As you can see, the mud is gross and the day is dreary, that pretty much sums up my day in a nutshell.

So I know I'm wearing the same tights as yesterday. Please forgive me, but I had to shoot 2 outfits last night before the sun was gone. And I'm sorry that I look like a total b*tch in these pictures. I'm really not, I promise. The combination of cold temperatures and trying to get these pictures done asap meant no smiling aloud (except the 2nd shot). Either that or this red lipstick has some sort of drug in it that just makes you feel fierce and you want to walk around with a slight grimace while wearing it... I'll opt for option one. Just to share a tid-bit of my life with you lovely people, I have been digging Colbie Caillatt so much lately and I'm wishing I had a sweet sultry voice like hers. All you raspy voice ladies out there, I'm jealous. Raspy voice + red lipstick would be one hot chick!

Happy Monday: 25/30
Monday, March 7, 2011
I'm sorry for the delayed post today. I had a busy weekend and majority of yesterday was spent recovering and relaxing, therefore no outfit pictures. I am excited that this challenge is drawing near the end. It has been fun, but definitely challenging! Hence the word challenge...yea, anyway. I had a surprisingly good Monday, which is usually very unlikely. I hope this is an indication of what the rest of the week is going to be like. What about you?

Lack there of: 24/30

The number 24 is presented to you today by: Lack of daylight, lack of sleep, and lack of time. I had to go out unexpectedly last night and didn't have time to do proper pictures, so I had to resort to doing them this morning before work. Sorry for the crap quality but that's what you get at 6:55am in Canada. I am actually surprised the sun was out at all yet but thankfully there was just enough light. I have a massive headache and wish I was lying in my cozy bed right now, but that is life after an intense kickboxing assessment last night. It's a day for complaining, didn't you know that?
I have also done the draw for the 3 Thrifty Ladies Giveaway, however for some reason I cannot copy the Random number generator into my blog. Any tips? But, the winner is... Becca Janie!
I have sent you an email so we can get it sent out to you. Congratulations, thanks for entering my very first giveaway!

My Boys: 23/30
Thursday, March 3, 2011
In other celebratory news, it is my real life boy's (BF) graduation banquet this Saturday and I couldn't be more proud! Congratulations to my very own private pilot! I will post some outfit pictures on Monday if you are interested. As for this outfit, I was absolutely freezing once again so keep that in mind. To try and counteract the weather I threw on one of my softest scarves, pulled my sweater in tight, and jacked up the socks, but I was still frozen by the end of this mini-shoot.

Brighten my day : 22/30
Wednesday, March 2, 2011
I am fresh out of words for you at this moment... nothing worth chatting about has happened in the past few days. I lead a boring life, but I'm working on spicing it up a little by hopefully teaching my own kickboxing class in the future as a part-time job in the evenings. Things are looking up my friends. Pretty much the only excitement I have during the week is reading your wonderful comments, so do me a favour and drop me a line. It'll make my day that much brighter. I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful week so far. I know mine is dragging on forever, but that tends to happen when you have an exciting weekend taunting you in the distance. Hope you're enjoying my 22nd outfit!

I just want to say Hello: 21/30

Although it may not seem like it between all the black, but I was inspired by Spring! I threw on the red accessories and red lipstick and froze my ass off. What do you think about the red lips? I may take them out for a special night on Saturday to make their debut. I have been drawing some lovely inspiration from some of my favourite blogs: CupcakesandCashmere and Atlantic-Pacific. They both always have such wonderful lip colours. I am out of my challenge rut and on a roll folks! It's amazing how a good lipstick can boost your fashion emotions. Did you notice I changed my part too? I haven't worn my hair like this for about 5 years so it feels so weird. Oh well, here's to change! Cheers.

Won't let you down: 19/30
Saturday, February 26, 2011
I couldn't let you down and not post 5 outfits this week, so here is #19. I can't wait for next week, and to be 3/4 of the way through this challenge! It has been difficult to take decent pictures and keep up the creativity with each item, but I've definitely learned how to push myself to think outside the box. I have some fun outfits to show you next week, so make sure you check back again soon!
Can you tell it was cold? I had to throw on my trusty legwarmers which never let me down.

Studious Student: 18/30
Thursday, February 24, 2011
Just as a Preface to these outfit pictures, for some reason I cut off my feet in every picture. I do have feet and I am wearing shoes just in case you got worried. I'm sorry for the reappearance of the glasses so soon, but I can't get enough of them. I went for the studious student look today so of course I had to wear my trusty glasses. Or for those of you who follow The Man Repeller, my Birth control glasses. For those who don't follow, it's basically saying that every straight man despises these glasses and therefore acts as another form of birth control. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's so true. I'm surprised my BF didn't refuse to take pictures of me while wearing them. He has come so far.

Travelling Hippie: 17/30
Wednesday, February 23, 2011
Being an 80's baby, I have always wondered what it would be like to live through the 70's. I love the funky patterns and shades of brown that were so dominant in their fashion era. I thought I'd bring out my inner hippie and live it for a day. What do you think? Could I pass for a travelling hippie waiting to be picked up by a passing VW cube van?
I am pleased to say the hours of sunlight in a day are slowly increasing, which means better pictures! Yay for all of us. I can't wait for all the snow to melt and to start pulling out my Spring clothes.
