Style Crush: Dree Hemingway

Thursday, December 1, 2016

You know those girls that always seem to look so effortlessly cool, that's Dree. Her style has been influenced by years in the fashion and film industry, with a twist of her own quirkiness. She is inspiring me to take a more relaxed and fun approach to my wardrobe this winter.

Dree Louise Hemingway Crisman (born December 4, 1987) is an American fashion model and actress and great grand daughter of American literary icon, Ernest Hemingway.

Style Crush: Sarah Rutson

Sunday, November 13, 2016

As I am approaching my 30th birthday (!) I am feeling like I have to dress "older" or more "age appropriate", which sounds terrible. Seeing women like Sarah Rutson pull off such amazing style as an older woman gives me hope that turning 30 doesn't mean I have to dress boring.

Sarah Rutson is the vice president of global buying at Net-A-Porter. Rutson rebranded Hong Kong–based Lane Crawford, then jumped to Net-a-Porter to head up global buying.

Style Crush: Duchess of Cambridge

Wednesday, September 28, 2016

I have always been a fan of the beautiful Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge.
Since the recent royal visit to Canada, I have once again been captivated by the Princess' beautiful style and thought you'd enjoy seeing a glimpse at some of her stunning outfits from this year as much as I did. Her style is impeccable.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton  is the wife of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
She has had a major impact upon British and American fashion, which has been termed the "Kate Middleton effect",[9] and in 2012 and 2013, she was selected as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" by Time magazine.
Middleton became prominent for her fashion style and has been placed on numerous "best dressed" lists.[63][64] She was selected by The Daily Telegraph as the "Most Promising Newcomer" in its 2006 list of style winners and losers.[65] She was featured in People magazine's 2007 and 2010 best-dressed lists.[67] Middleton was named as one of Richard Blackwell's ten "Fabulous Fashion Independents" of 2007.[68] In June 2008, Style.com selected Middleton as their monthly beauty icon.[69] In July 2008, Middleton was included in Vanity Fair's international best-dressed list.[70] In January 2012, she was voted 'Headwear Person of the Year.'[72] Middleton was number one on Vanity Fair's annual Best Dressed lists in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013; she also appeared as the cover star in 2012.[73][74] In June 2016, she took part in her first magazine shoot for Vogue's centenary issue appearing on the cover of the magazine.

Celebrity Crush: Zendaya

Tuesday, June 16, 2015

Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman

There has been some controversy over a comment that Guiliana Rancic made on Fashion Police about Zendaya's drocklocks, and it had me hopping from one Entertainment site to the next.
While Zendaya is known for her role in the Disney show Shake it Up, her red carpet looks have really put her on the Fashion map. This girl can pull of any look!

When she a turned a turtleneck into evening wear.

When she knew a T-shirt could be just as chic as a dress.

When frankly everything about this made you drop to your knees.
When she threw a leather jacket over a glamorous top and skirt combo and said, "Whatevs."
When she mastered classy and fierce at the same time.
And of course, when she showed up to the Oscars like the goddess she is.

Celebrity Crush: Georgia May Jagger

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Georgia May Jagger: Model
Georgia May Jagger is the youngest daughter of Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall. At the tender age of 16 she signed with Independent Models, following her mum and elder sister Lizzie into the fashion industry thanks to her famously full lips, wavy blonde locks and standout gap-toothed style. That year she made her catwalk debut for Vivienne Westwood - and hasn't looked back since. Still in the fledgling days of her career, she already has campaigns for Rimmel, Versace, Chanel and Hudson jeans (with whom she has a £1 million deal that includes a design element) under her belt and she was named Model Of The Year at the 2009 British Fashion Awards.
