Here's my take on Double denim - summer edition. I thought I'd change up the scenery for you and take some pictures in our old greenhouse, but the lighting was really difficult. We'll have to try again on a cloudier day. Soooo glad it's Friday! Hope you have a great weekend.

So two things that I have been trying to get set for summer: The fishtail braid and purchase a straw hat. Success!

My BF and I are hoping to buy our first car together! This was the colour we were going to get originally, but now we're hoping to get the black Jetta 2011. So pumped!
We ran across a snake infested field snuck into the dealership to get a sneak peak at our baby. Hopefully we can get it for next weekend.

I have been reminiscing on a whirlwind trip we made to Amsterdam several years ago, and thought I'd share some tips for packing a weekend bag for winter in Holland.
We visited in the off season and the canal boat taxis didn't run at that time, so we ended up walking a lot! Another great way to get around this city is biking. The bike traffic is as busy as the motor vehicle traffic, and it was wonderful to see such an active city. We visited the infamous Red Light District on the first night we were there, and it was definitely all that you would imagine... and more. We also walked through the historic Anne Frank Museum which I really enjoyed.
