I wanted to give you some ideas on how to replace your basic festive outfits (hello Little Black Dress) with something a little more fun.

I have loved Blake Lively ever since her big debut in "Sisterhood of the travelling pants" (Love that movie), and still do in her role on Gossip Girl as "Serena VanderWoodsen".
















She looked stunning in this Zuhair Murad gown this week on the show.
I think she is a natural beauty who looks great no matter what. I love that she can pull off a gorgeous gown, but yet still dresses casual during time off.

Chiffon, Knits, and Fur - Oh My!

I love layering pieces with different textures and styles. It's a fun way to stay warm in the winter and still look exceptionally stylish.
I love the way Dolce & Gabbana put together these looks, they do it perfectly!

I'm becoming a little more obsessed with Converse. I got my second pair a couple weeks ago and I love them!
Here's a bit of history on the famous Chuck Taylor Converse high tops.
The shoes were not particularly popular until basketball player Chuck Taylor adopted them as his preferred shoe. He was impressed with the design so he became the shoe's leading salesman. After proposing a few changes to the shoe, and to switch to a nonslip sole, the shoe got its current name and Chuck Taylor's signature on its ankle All Stars patch.




I haven't been daring enough to wear the classic Chuck Taylor's but maybe that'll be my next daring fashion statement.

I was reading a blog recently and discovered that Converse is now making winter boots! They're very country/hick chic, and I am not ashamed to admit that I love being a country girl. Check them out.
