Nothing brightens up an outfit like a pair of red chucks (high top converse)! This is the perfect simple summer outfit because it's so light and airy, but still covered up. I am over these little high school girls with low cut tops and mini shorts that barely cover their bums! You have to leave a little to the imagination right?

Outfit: Airport weekend chic

Since the huz was working 12 hour days this weekend I was his little taxi service and dropped him off and picked him up so that I could have a car for the day. Sometimes the thrill of being behind the scenes at the airport with him gets me a little giddy so I thought I'd snap a couple shots. Just a typical casual weekend outfit to pick up my husband. I know it's not the most exciting location for photos (our balcony), but it is WAY too hot outside to be in a jacket. I could only bear to be outside in a denim jacket for 5 minutes maximum! It's a record breaking 37 degrees today! Thank goodness for air conditioning.

a happy father's day

We spent Saturday at my parents celebrating Father's day with my dad. It was really nice to be with family, oh and of course the newest members of the family, the kittens that my dad found abandoned in their barn. I wanted to take home that little orange one! I think my sisters were checking to make sure their kids didn't take any home either.
