Since I am not directly involved in the Fashion Industry but read about it daily, I get a little excited to see celebrities such as Jeanne Beker (who was sitting in front of me), Jay Manuel, model Yasmin Warsame, and a few others. I also got a hello from Joe Mimran, designer for Joe Fresh. Here's a few photos and some from my complete outfit from the night.

So for those that are new to my blog, I live on a vegetable farm, hence the big red dumping wagon behind me. Right now we are in the middle of harvest and I love the fresh smell of carrots and onions. Do you ever have it where you smell something and it reminds you of a specific person or place? Nothing else adds that ounce of fun better than sequins and ruffles, but what makes it even better, it's all thrifted! Three cheer's for cheap dutch people and finding these little gems. Too bad Value Village is getting just as expensive as a retail store. Three boo's for overpriced thrift stores.

The leaves are changing and the weather is beautiful so why not take advantage of it with bare legs and a comfy tee. Matching lipstick, necklace, and t-shirt with a punch of leopard print = one sassy outfit. Hope everyone had a great long weekend with family and friends.

Seeing as it's been raining for the past few days, all I really want to do is lounge around in sweats. Thankfully I can wear pretty much whatever I want and I found the perfect compromise between my work attire and a comfy sweatshirt.

The temperature dropped drastically on Friday night and has continued to get colder all weekend. I guess it is officially fall. We went down town on Saturday night to see a band that we are going to book for our wedding and had so much fun. It was a lounge type club so I wore a comfy dress and boots. One upside to cooler weather is wearing my fun tights again! Have a great week everyone.

I know it's an unlikely combination, and I'll admit, I'm not quite sold on it myself, but I thought I'd give it a try. So here's to trying new things; Red and brown. What colour combination's are you trying out this fall?

I spent the weekend at the Red Leaves Marriott resort in Muskoka, and thankfully the rain held off and it turned out to be a gorgeous weekend. The scenery was breathtaking as the leaves have started to turn and we took full advantage of the view from our balcony. More coming on that tomorrow.
