Here's the pics from Day 1 of LGFW. Like I mentioned yesterday, I got a last minute invite to the opening night which included a sneak peak of Holt Renfrew's Fall/Winter Collection - Can't Live Without Fashion and shows by Izma and Juma. Since this was my very first time at a real fashion show, I didn't get great pictures. I had to figure out the best angle from where I was sitting and timing so that they weren't blurry. I've also thrown in a few from The Star. Enjoy! I'll have more for you lovely people tomorrow. See you then!

Jeanne Beker opened up the night; I was a little star struck since I always watch her on FT. |
Holt Renfrew opened up the night with a few of their top Canadian designers. Smythe was one of my favourites since I love a good cozy sweater and hats with oversized pom pom's on top! It reminded of
D&G FW2010. I also really loved Pink Tartan but I will show you her wonderful collection from last night's show tomorrow.

The back of this dress was insanely beautiful! The perfect finale piece. (Thestar.com) |

I love love loved that same blazer from Smythe - on my fall wishlist! I liked the velvet and sparkly glamour at Izma although not a huge fan of the fur "sustainable" or not. Their beauty and hair styling though was absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a super fun time.
ReplyDeleteI wish this was my life.
