Turning 27 has changed my outlook on life. Not that it's a significant age by any means, but I feel like this year is turning into a life changing year for me.
My husband and I are coming up to our 2 year wedding anniversary, 10 year anniversary of being together! Now that just seems crazy! I am so thankful to have him in my life, and I really don't know where I would be without him. Our next step is to move to a bigger place to hopefully house future babies, and continue to work on our careers to get to where we want to be.
Nothing comes without hard work, but it takes time and commitment to get there.
I am trying to focus my attention on important things, rather than worry about the little things. With that, means creating healthy habits.
1. Exercise Daily
Even if it's a quick walk at the end of the day, or on my break at work, I know that it makes a big difference for my overall well-being.
2. Rest
This doesn't necessarily mean sleep, but even just to make the time to unwind at the end of the day to clear my head.
3. Eat Healthy and don't skip meals
I have the tendency to skip meals or eat on the run when I am busy with other things. Breakfast is usually the meal I skip in order to get that extra bit of sleep :)
4. Don't waste time
The internet is a blackhole for me. I can spend hours a day searching, pinning and reading blogs, but I want to spend my time wisely and make each day count.
5. Read my bible every day
Do you remember that song from Sunday School "Read your bible, pray every day..."? I know it's something that I should be doing, and want to make the time for it rather than watch TV at night.
What habits do you have that make your life better? Please share!
