"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5: 4
It is hard to think past all of the heartache and sorrow that so many are feeling right now, following the horrific scenes from Newtown, Connecticut. Seeing the names, ages, and faces of those lives that were lost, makes it sink in a little deeper. It is hard to imagine the pain that families are going through, but we can offer them the most powerful weapon that God has offered us, Prayer. Let's join together and surround this community with prayer and give them hope. Be a light in their darkness.
I also wanted to share this; Jamie's post: Newtown as I know it
It is a look into her life as a Newtown resident. It's a beautiful town, not always one known for death and sadness. She wants everyone to see the beauty and love that is in this town.
