This week we are starting to move some stuff into our apartment; we get our first furniture delivery, and we're painting a few rooms! I'm so excited, I could burst!
I will update you as we move along, but for now it's probably just going to be a giant disaster, so be patient my friends, it's gonna be awesome! Here's our blank canvas and some inspiration pictures for each space.

When searching for colours and furniture for these spaces, I wanted them all to be cohesive, yet different. Living in a small apartment is much different than a house, each room should work together to create an overall theme, yet have it's own personality using fun accessories and one of a kind items. As you can see, we are using grey and white for our basics, and adding some fun colours to make things a little more interesting.
It is always so fun planning and decorating a new home! So excited for you both!

Wow, it's pretty sad when your apartment when you're moving in looks better than my house that I've lived in! Haha.

Nice! The inspirations that you posted kind of made me excited to see the outcome of your renovations. Anyway, I think you have moved in by now. So, how’s the new place? I hope nothing was left behind during the move. A lot of movers seem to have that kind of problem. It’s probably because of unorganized storage systems. Anyway, I want to see your new place. How about a picture? =)
ReplyDeleteYour new place has a homey feel even with fewer accessories. The designing portion will be easy for a fully furnished house like that. Ericka and I feel the same - excited to see the outcome of your re-designing project. =)
