Not Wedding Wednesday: Ceremony Photos
Thursday, May 24, 2012

This is one of my favourite pictures! Just to give you a little bit of background as to why my dad is picking up my father-in-law; We incorporated a small traditional Indian ceremony called Milni. Each member of the immediate family exchanges a garland with one another as a symbol of the two families joining together. Apparently there is always a little competition to see which father can lift each other higher, and my dad surprised us all when he went along with it and pick him up as well!

Wedding Wednesday: Bridal Party Photos
Wednesday, May 23, 2012
Finally another Wedding post for you with our official wedding photos.
I am in love with them all but I have just chosen a select few to encompass our whole day. I don't want to do a whole huge post so I am going to break it up into different parts of the day. Here's some of us and the bridal party before the ceremony.
Hope you like them!
On a side note: I am now offering Professional Wedding planning services! I am a certified wedding planner and am available for anyone in the Greater Toronto Area. Ok, I'm done. Enjoy!

Going down to meet my groom.

Wedding Wednesday: Indian Photoshoot (Part II)
Wednesday, April 18, 2012
Last week Friday I had my hair and makeup trials done, as well as some photos in my Indian outfit - this style is called a lengha. We had a lot of fun and had the most perfect day to do them. It made me so excited for the wedding because it made everything seem so much more real, and also gave me confidence that the wedding day will go smoothly.
Here's a few photos that I got back from my photographer as a little preview. I hope you like them!
