This weekend we went up to Collingwood to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday and enjoyed the great Canadian outdoors. The weather was perfect and I loved the atmosphere of being in snow country.

First of all...
I want to say a BIG congratulations to Anja from A Heart and Soul Story for winning the $100 Shopbop giveway!

I just wanted to give you a little inspiration if you are caught in a winter rut (like me). Vibrant colours are always the perfect solution, and with Valentine's day coming up, what better colour than PINK?! Stay safe and warm with this big snow storm coming friends!

My husband got a new job, so we headed out for a romantic dinner for two to celebrate. I thought I would put my pinterest boards to use and try out this hair style that I think is so simple and classic. It's fun to find things that help me create my own unique style, and really feel like 'me'. You like?


The winds have been really cold, and the snow covers the sidewalks so I had to stick with a warm sweater, thick tights and boots.

Last year, I made a bucket list. It was exciting to write down all of the things I could look forward to doing in the upcoming year, and since I am a list-maker, I enjoyed checking things off and having a sense of accomplishment. I wanted to do the same for 2013, and also follow up with how I fared with last year's list.

Educate myself: I took the WPIC course (January 21-22, 2012)
Did an internship with a wedding planner (February - April, 2012)
Got Married! (April 28, 2012)

Traveled to St. Lucia (April 29 - May 6, 2012)
Went Zip-lining & Snorkeling for the first time


Coordinated my first wedding (August 18, 2012)

1. Visit one Wonder of the World

7. Scuba dive/ Snorkel in the Great barrier reef
8. Drive the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne, Australia
