We finally had snow this weekend! I needed to document it as it may be the only snowfall we have this winter, and I'd be perfectly fine with that. Hope you all had a great weekend! Happy Monday and have a great week.

The "Married Haircut"
Thursday, January 26, 2012
You've heard the term "Mom hair". Well many women tend to grow their hair long for their wedding and then chop it after, which I will term the "Married hair". I am getting so tired of my hair, but of course I'm growing it and don't want to do anything drastic before my wedding. So I am looking for inspiration to figure out what my married hair will be...any suggestions? I feel like I need something to make me look older, yet still fun and me.
What did you do? Did you chop your hair after your wedding?

Rachel McAdams. A fringe?
Heidi Klum
Brittany Snow
Julianne Hough
Or I could just try to pull of the long luscious curls in an attempt to look like Marisa Miller...

Wedding Wednesday: The Men
Wednesday, January 25, 2012
Despite the common thinking that the wedding day is all about the Bride, I think it needs to be focused more on The Couple. We can't forget about the handsome men! I love the elegance of a tuxedo, especially with a formal bowtie. We're going to look at tux rentals this weekend to find the right style for our wedding; Satin lapels? Tail coat? Cumber band? So many choices! Can't wait to see my man all spiffed up.

Cheers to Adventure: 2012 Bucket List
Tuesday, January 24, 2012
I recently discovered the Lesley Carter blog and was reading through her 2012 Bucket List. It was quite inspiring and made me think, "What would I put on my bucket list?". This year is going to come with many changes already, and I want to make it the best year of my life thus far. I did make personal goals for myself here, but a bucket list is something more. It's a way to push yourself to find new adventures and experience life on another level and get out of that mundane lifestyle.
Here's my 2012 Bucket list.
Some things I've already accomplished, others are scheduled, and some are still dreams that will hopefully come true.
1. Educate myself - Take the WPIC course (January 21-22, 2012)
2. Get an internship within the wedding industry (February - July, 2012)
3. Get Married (April 28, 2012)
4. Travel to St. Lucia (April 29 - May 6, 2012)
5. Plan & Coordinate a Wedding
6. Visit one Wonder of the World
7. Travel to New York City
8. Go zip-lining
9. Run a half-marathon
10. Go on a spontaneous roadtrip (I'm not a spontaneous person)

Back to Class
Monday, January 23, 2012
This weekend I took a wedding planning course through WPIC (Wedding Planners Institute of Canada) to learn about the industry and become a certified wedding planner. It's been over 2 years since I've been in school so I had to figure out the whole deal again, but surprisingly I quite enjoyed it.
I am not a very social person in a room full of strangers, but we were pushed to do exercises with fellow classmates, and I just so happened to meet a really great girl who I became great friends within just 2 short days. Meet Karen, my wedding planning soulmate as we were called.
Yay for new friends, education, and a productive weekend!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as well.
Celebrity Crush: Poppy Delevigne
Thursday, January 19, 2012
I know I am a little behind in fashion sometimes, but I couldn't miss out on featuring Poppy Delevigne as my current Celebrity Crush. She is the epitome of fashion and everything I wish I could be. She's stunning, has great legs, and killer style. Here is but a few of my favourite looks from her (it's impossible to choose).
Poppy Delevigne
Model
Born: September 15, 1986
With her mother the head of personal shopping at Selfridges, Poppy Delevigne's keen fashion sense has always been pumping through her veins. Delevigne was born in London, England but now lives in New York, NY. She has walked the runway for designers such as Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Biba under Elite, and Storm Model Management. Even though she models for high end designers, this model doesn't take herself too seriously.

Christmas in January
Monday, January 16, 2012
Growing up means moving away and starting your own family, but never forgetting the one that brought you to where you are.
With the Christmas season being so busy and my good friend having a baby just before, we decided to have Christmas in January with my girlfriends. It was so great to catch up and enjoy some cuddle time with the babies.

Wedding Wednesday: DIY Invitations (Part 2)
Wednesday, January 11, 2012
Well I am half-way through assembling the invitations. Let me tell you, this has been one of the biggest projects I have taken on for the wedding, and I will be happy when it's done! You can check out part one here. Things are puttin' along thanks to the help of my mom and sisters, and I'm hoping to have them all done by next Wednesday and shipped off on the weekend. Wish me luck!
