Thursday, December 29, 2011

Here's a few of my favourite outfits. I love that personal style cannot be bought, it's always evolving and changing. I can't wait for another year to experiment and test the limits of fashion.
Which one is your favourite?

Wednesday, December 28, 2011

The hubs had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so I brought him dinner and spent Christmas with him there for a bit. I got a tour of the hangar and pretended I was a high class exec. getting ready for a flight to Paris. One day...

Wedding Wednesday: Manly bling

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

More often than not, the women take over the wedding planning and the men take a backseat.
As in life, men only need a few small things to prepare for the wedding day, the ring being one of them. Since it's one of the few things they get to decide for themselves, why not give them as many options as possible? Gold, White Gold, Platinum, Tungston, Diamonds, Comfort fit...there are options for every kind of man.
Next on the list, find my fiance some manly bling.

In the golden fields

Sunday, December 18, 2011

The sun was out, the fields were glowing, and there was no sight of snow.
This weekend we soaked up this non-wintery weather and took some photos on our way back from Christmas shopping. The golden yellow field was glowing beautifully, so we pulled off to the side of road, hopped out of the car and stood in the middle of the empty road for a photo shoot. I had my fingers crossed that my uncle wouldn't come speeding down the road and take me out from the legs, or ask what in the world I was doing taking pictures in the middle of the road!

Wedding Wednesday: DIY Invitations (Part 1)

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

You've heard me mention the stress of the invitations, well things are moving along and they are almost ready to be assembled. My sisters helped me cut and prepare all the paper, now we just have to print the inside and round up some friends for an assembly line. Now that I have each piece to the puzzle I am feeling a lot better.

Supply List
Black card stock: Stampin' Up
Ivory card stock: The Paper Place (we hand embossed the paper ourselves)

Wedding Wednesday: Dessert

Wednesday, December 7, 2011

If you've been following along with my Wedding Wednesday's you may remember this post about the cake.
Since neither of us is big on cake, we decided go to a little traditional and a lot modern, and go with a small cake topper and the rest cupcakes. I've been in touch with our baker and am actually getting excited about the possibilities. We will also be having some traditional Indian sweets and possibly a candy bar as well. The plan is to feed our guests as much sugar as possible to keep them dancing all night long! Who's excited?
