Since I am not directly involved in the Fashion Industry but read about it daily, I get a little excited to see celebrities such as Jeanne Beker (who was sitting in front of me), Jay Manuel, model Yasmin Warsame, and a few others. I also got a hello from Joe Mimran, designer for Joe Fresh. Here's a few photos and some from my complete outfit from the night.

I got invited to the opening night of LGFW S/S.12 by the lovely Danielle from Hellodenj.
The opening show was held by some of Holt Renfrew's top designers, so here's a few snapshots from the show.

So here it is folks, the last of my adventures to LGFW fw2011. I will continue to look at trends for next season and take inspiration from the runways so make sure you follow along so you don't miss out! I am so excited to relax this weekend since this week has been very busy and chaotic. It was my bf's birthday yesterday, (happy belated birthday baby!) so we're going to be hanging out with friends and celebrating with family. I hope you all have a great weekend, see you Monday!

This was my favourite skirt of the collection. The perfect amount of sparkle = the perfect party skirt!

So, this was my outfit for Day 2 of LGFW and I know it's not dressy at all and looks like I'm just going to the mall, but that's just me. I hate when people try way too hard and then look like they tried too hard. I just wanted to feel comfortable and be able to enjoy the night without worrying about something being out of place or having wickedly sore feet. So this is me, enjoy.

Here's the pics from Day 1 of LGFW. Like I mentioned yesterday, I got a last minute invite to the opening night which included a sneak peak of Holt Renfrew's Fall/Winter Collection - Can't Live Without Fashion and shows by Izma and Juma. Since this was my very first time at a real fashion show, I didn't get great pictures. I had to figure out the best angle from where I was sitting and timing so that they weren't blurry. Jeanne Beker opened up the night; I was a little star struck since I always watch her on FT.

Holt Renfrew opened up the night with a few of their top Canadian designers. Smythe was one of my favourites since I love a good cozy sweater and hats with oversized pom pom's on top! It reminded of D&G FW2010. I also really loved Pink Tartan but I will show you her wonderful collection from last night's show tomorrow.
